It was such a pleasure to know Betty and be a part of her Grove family. Betty & Bob were our "pew buddies" when they attended Grove. She is now with the Lord she served all her life.

I had the privilege of working with Betty at Halls Cross Rds. She was my mentor, friend, and a very classy lady. I know she will be fondly remembered by those who worked with her and the many students who were lucky enough to have her for their teacher.

My family & I lived across the street from Betty on Hays Rd. in Aberdeen for many years. How lucky we were to have gotten to know such a wonderful, kind, soft spoken, generous Christian woman. My children adored her. Even after both our families moved off the street, we managed to keep in touch from time to time. So sorry that I didn't attend her Memorial Service but I just learned of her passing. My condolences to her family.

I am so sorry to learn of "Ms Monroes" passing. You have my deepest sympathy. Both of my daughters were her kindergarten students at Hall's Cross Roads. She was a wonderful teacher and much beloved. She never forgot the students or parents and always inquired about them if she saw you out around town, even many years later. She will never be forgotten. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
