Virginia Roland Witkowski

Virginia Roland Witkowski, age 90 of Churchville died Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at home. Born in Havre de Grace to the late Elihu Roland and Etta (Lewis) Roland; beloved wife of the late Eugene "Gene" Witkowski; dear mother of Michael Witkowski and wife Maureen of Bel Air and Mark Witkowski and wife Lynn of Conowingo; sister of Louise Pruitt of Little Rock, AR, and the late Ruth Heizer, Fae Mitchell, Hazel Bettinger, Dana Kilby, James Roland, Mildred Austin and Edith Comer. Virginia is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was a member of Churchville Presbyterian Church for well over 50 years, enjoyed flower gardening and was retired from the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Harford County after over 40 years of service. Family will receive friends on Friday, June 24 from 10-11am in Churchville Presbyterian Church. A funeral service will follow at 11am. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ben Billings, Rodney Erdman, Roland Mitchell, Don Heizer, Kenny Born and Bonnie Castillo.
