To the family of Dan, I worked with Dan a long time ago. He was there when my father got sick with cancer several years ago and he gave me the stone that he first received at Fahter Martin's. I didn't want to take it because I do understand what that means, but he wanted me to have it because he knew what I was going thru too. I will really miss him, even though I have not been in touch since he left Value City. He was a great person to work with, and I hope he is at peace now. I will always remember you and yes I still have the stone. Dan's family please feel comfort that he was liked and loved by many. Debbie Walters

Dan, I don't understand why u had to leave....I hve always been there for u n I would hve been there again....u just don't realize what and who u left behind. But u r truly in a wonderful place now. No longer suffering and no longer in pain. You are with your parents now and finally your at ease. Just know that we love u n will continue to love u even though ur no longer here in person. I will always cherish n protect my memories of u...me riding big wheels through kiddie city....my first job at value city...and everything u taught me at Gabriel brothers. My mom sends her love up to you. And to everyone in ur family. Love ya Dan the man!!!! RIP <3

When I was 11 I went with Uncle Dan, Aunt Kris, and Jeremy to Kings Dominion. They wanted to take us up the Efile Tower and I asked"what if we get stuck in the elevator?" Uncle Dan promised we wouldn't get stuck. Well, we got stuck. We had to wait for maintence men to up and climb on top of the elevator and jump on it to push it down, it over shot the floor we were to get off. I remember looking at him when I realized we were stuck and saying "You said we wouldn't get stuck." and he just looked at me and I think he said "OOPS." I laugh everytime I think about that, though I am still not crazy about elevators. Love you Uncle Dan You will be missed.

I knew Danny and Kris back in the late 80's, early 90's. They lived up the street from me in Bel Air. I remember Dan, as well as his wife, as a very friendly, positive individual who was pleasant to talk with. I guess somewhere along lifes road we all lost touch. I saw him last summer at Big Lots in Edgewood. I didnt think I looked presentable that day, so I didnt approach him to say hello. I am so sorry that I didnt take that opportunity to do so. Within the last several days, I happened to see his wife on Facebook. She informed me of Dan's passing. I somehow missed that news. I was very sorry to hear that! So sad, even though I have been outta touch for years. I just want to say that my thoughts and my prayers go out to him and his family. I am sorry for the lose of such a memorable man. RIP
