Robert Harold Ragan

Robert H. Ragan, age 72 of Aberdeen died Sunday, August 7, 2011. Born in Elkton to Roman H. and Beulah Ragan. Beloved husband of Laura Ragan. Dear father of Deborah Ann Elliott and husband Arthur "Buddy" Elliott, Jr. of Aberdeen, and Brenda Darlene Ragan of Aberdeen. Brother of Roman B. Ragan of Elkton, Ronald Ragan and wife Janice of Kelton, PA, and Zelma Cain and husband Loy of Carmel, IN. He is also survived by relatives and friends in Cecil County and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by sisters, Marion Burkins and Marjorie Bem; and brother, Wilson Ragan. Mr. Ragan was a machine operator for 33 years at H. Muller-Thyn Company of Perryville after working for Bata Shoe. He loved animals, being outdoors, NASCAR, antique autos and enjoyed bowling. Family will receive friends in the family owned Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home, P.A. of Aberdeen on Saturday, August 13 from 1-2pm. A memorial service will follow at 2pm.
