Alice Lucinda Booker, age 70 of Aberdeen died Thursday, October 27, 2011 in her home. Born in Havre de Grace to the late George Earl, Sr. and Evelyn Earl (nee Ringgold); beloved wife of William Booker for 41 years; loving mother of Robert A. Earl of Bellevue, NE, Eleanor Nagy of West Palm, FL, Roland Jones of El Paso, TX, Michelle Jones of Belcamp, Karen Whiteford and husband Steven of Belcamp and the late Oliver Jones; dear sister of George Earl, Jr. and wife Evelyn of Havre de Grace, Robert Ringgold and wife Connie of Aberdeen, William Frink and wife Bessie of Belcamp, George Kell and wife Barbara of Aberdeen, Paul Jordan and wife Marguerite of Havre de Grace, Melvin Earl of Havre de Grace, Mildred Frink of Aberdeen and Rachel Allison of Harmony, NC. Alice is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was a faithful member of Helping Hands Ministries and was a retired Perry Point VA Medical Center medical assistant. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 1 from 2-4 and 7-9pm in the family owned Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home, P.A. of Aberdeen. A funeral service officiated by Bishop Roger L. Tatuem will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 2 at 11am in Helping Hands Ministries, 3237 Level Rd, Churchville. Visitation on Wednesday in church from 10-11am.
