Smitty taught me something he loved. Shooting a shotgun we had lots of fun. He was a one of the good guys. I wish his family all the best and will remember you in my prayers.

Dear Vickie and Family - Smitty was such a great friend and wonderful man. He took me under his wing when I started with the company so many years ago and I always appreciated that. I hate that we all drifted apart after you guys moved back home. Smitty was one of those rare guys who was loved by everyone - his friends, coworkers and even by our customers! We sure loved working with Smitty and we thank you for sharing so much of him with us.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. I had the pleasure of working with Mr Smitty at Kunkels, he was a kind and generous man. He shared a lot of stories with me about the history of the area and My wife and I enjoyed having him show us around the cannery at steppingstone. He will be missed.
