Obituary
Dorothy Helen Perry, age 83 of Aberdeen passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2011 in her home. Born in Ashe County, NC to the late Lillard and Retti Hamm; beloved wife of James W. Perry; dear mother of James Allan Perry of Aberdeen, Larry B. Perry and wife Bessie of North East and Gary Perry and wife Kathleen of Havre de Grace. She is also survived by a sister, Ettie Gillie of Bel Air, 8 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Dorothy was raised Baptist and enjoyed spending time with family, knitting, bingo and cooking.
Family will receive friends on Friday, December 9 from 5-8pm in the family owned Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home, P.A. of Aberdeen. A funeral service will be celebrated in the funeral home on Saturday at 11am. Interment will follow in Harford Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 353, Aberdeen, MD 21001.
