Lusetta B Thompson

Lusetta B. Thompson, age 72 of Rock Run (Havre de Grace) died Tuesday, January 31, 2011 at home. She was born in Philadelphia to the late Russell and Mary Garber. Loving mother of Deborah R. "Runt" Markline and husband Jeff and Dale Thompson, all of Rock Run; dear sister of the late Katherine Bortz-Maloney. She was predeceased by her mother and father-in-law Rosa Thompson-Chapman and Clarence Chapman whose porch she enjoyed relaxing on. She attended Rock Run United Methodist Church and was a retired mail carrier for the Havre de Grace Post Office. Before delivering mail she was a school bus driver for many years. She loved the children she drove to school and delivered mail to, keeping in touch with many of them over the years. She enjoyed making afghans, cake decorating, square dancing and dogs. Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 2 from 3-5 and 7-9pm in the family owned Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home, P.A. of Aberdeen. A funeral service officiated by Pastor Paul Simmons will be celebrated on Friday, February 3 at 11am. Interment will follow in Harford Memorial Gardens.
