Robert Stanley Walker, Jr., age 77 of Aberdeen died Saturday, January 28, 2012. Born in Havre de Grace to the late Robert Stanley Walker, Sr. and Phyllis Walker (nee Knight). Beloved husband of Virginia Walker; dear father of Jessica L. Walker of Aberdeen and the late Leslie M .Walker; loving brother of Calvin Walker and companion Nancy Knopp of Aberdeen and Ruth Wheaton and husband Bill of TN. He is also survived by nephew Shawn Walker and niece Amber Walker, both of Aberdeen. Robert was a huge sports enthusiast who played, coached and spectator. His favorite spectator sports were football, baseball and boxing. As a player he was a softball pitcher for many years. Robert coached women's basketball, softball and soccer for many years. He retired from Beta Shoe where he was a warehouse supervisor. The family will receive friends in the family owned Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home, P.A. on Wednesday, February 1 from 6:30pm to 9pm.
