We have so many memories of pop, I do not know where to start. Pop was no bull shit but loved his family so much. His kids and grandkids were his greatest accomplishments. I hope that he is enjoying the afterlife with momom, a daily Jack and water made just right and endless fish and chips without the blood sugar spike. We love you so much POP (now OLD POP to his great grandkids) and we cannot wait to celebrate you very soon.

I am deeply grateful for the many laughs and meals shared at the Zurkowski table with Wayne (Pop). Some of my most cherished memories include seeing the warmth in your smile whenever you met any animal, watching and learning about all the classic cars passing by, and baby Simone’s slow dance (Wonderful Tonight) with you, your hand gently extended. These moments will stay with me forever. Sending all my love to the family and friends who shared in Wayne’s wonder—the great love and light in his eyes.

Anyone that started talking to Wayne after about 15 seconds he made you feel like you knew him his entire life. I had the honor of driving him to Ocean City a few years back and after 3 hours in the car with him you knew his life story starting the day he was born. We did not even make it out of Harford County yet and we pull up to a red light and a nice-looking woman was in the car next to us and he said to me boy what I could do with that, I knew it was going to be a fun ride but I made sure I kept his window locks on and I heard about every cuss word there is. Wayne RIP you will be missed.
