Your dad was my boss and my very good friend. Rod once said gene could spot a germ at a hundred yards. Your dad and i went deer hunting in Canada and stayed at your grandparents home. Rod got a deer! These are a few thoughts that came to mind when i saw the obit in the sun paper. I am sorry for your loss. I lost my mom in 2009.

Nanny, I am so happy to have known you. I enjoyed your stories and Memories of Canada. I know right now that you are dancing with Rod in a better place. Raberta, I watched you from week to week take care of Nanny and you did a wonderful job. I know it got to be tough towards the end but you handled it well.

nanny girl- we loved you so... i had wonderful summers at the lake and just loved spending time with you and rod in east berlin, at the fairs, antiquing and sharing wonderful & delicious foods... thank you so much for all of the wonderful stories and for teaching me to expand myself through crafts, cooking, sewing and literature... i loved rod's gardens and especially the beautiful rose garden that he made for you to see out of your kitchen window... i will miss you and may do the lenten soup & sermons like we did in years past at holy trinity... love you nanny!

Dear Bobbi and family, Your Mother and mine,Mabel Morgan, were such very close loving cousins. I will always remember Gene in a special place in my heart as she has been such a kind and faithful cousin/friend throughout these many years to my Mother and my family as well. She is really the last New Brunswick family link I had. I will miss her letters and calls. I will always think of her with such fond memories. When you go to New Brunswick let me know as I will try to meet you there if possible. Thank you so much for letting me know about Gene. Thoughts and prayers to you all. Ann Morgan Gahagan
