Dear Lisa, Your Dad will always be special to me. He was the quiet guy in our bible studies who didn't speak out very often. WHEN HE DID, it was worth the wait! I was awed by his knowledge and understanding of the Bible. I especially enjoyed his dry sense of humor, always lurking beneath the surface and good for a zinger or two when I least expected it. For me, your Dad was an example and encourager; a man devoted to his Lord and to his family. We rejoice in his life and pray that your days are filled with fond memories and the knowledge that he is home with his Lord.

I enjoyed my friendship with Lyle. I was surprised that he had died so long ago without my knowing about it. We used to enjoy noontime walks where we would discuss numerous subjects. We even discussed work off the clock.
