John David Piper, Jr., age 32 of Aberdeen, formerly of Florida died Monday, March 12, 2012 due to an accident. Born in Havre de Grace to Dianne Shelby (nee Baker) of Ruskin, FL and the late John David Piper, Sr.; grandson of Dorothy Piper Gross of Aberdeen and the late John H. Piper; step-grandson of the late Marvin H. Gross; fiancée of Nicole Houck of Aberdeen; brother of Patrick Ryan Piper of Tampa, FL, Michelle Piper of Tampa, FL, Jacquelyn Shelby of Ruskin, FL, Sarah Shelby of Ruskin, FL and the late Christopher Piper; father of Christian Schohfield of Sarasota, FL, Jalissa Piper and John David Piper, III both of Tampa, FL and nephew of Mitchell Baker and wife Cristina of Tampa, FL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. John enjoyed fishing, woodworking, drawing and music.
Family will receive friends in the family owned Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home, P.A. of Aberdeen on Friday, March 16 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service officiated by Rev. Glenn Barrick of Cranberry United Methodist Church will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 8 pm.

I am deeply saddened by the passing of a good friend. I will always remember you for the fun times we had. Too many die way to young. You were there for my 18th birthday party at the Hyatt in Tampa. What a great night! 6 of us were there, and only 4 are still left standing. That was10 years ago. Strangely enough, I tried to contact you on facebook the day before you passed. . Say hello to all those that we have lost and I know you will be greeted by your brother. You will always be remembered & your legacy carried on through your children.
