Glen A. Welsh
October 11, 1965 - April 02, 2012
Obituary
Glen Arthur Welsh, who lived in Abingdon, died on Monday, April 2, 2012 from complications from an accident on February 23, 2012. He was 46 years old. Many in Harford County knew Glen as a result of his genuinely caring spirit. He was seen riding his bicycle throughout the county, typically with a small American flag, He loved to be with people and get to know them. He was always interested in starting up a conversation. Glen was a man of deep faith, worshipping at Calvary Baptist Church and recently becoming active in Grace United Methodist Church in Aberdeen. Through the sharing of his faith and understanding of Scripture in worship, he sometimes led others to think about their own beliefs in a new way. His faith motivated him to be more concerned for the needs of others over his own needs. He leaves behind the many friends he has made over the years.
A service celebrating his life will be held on Sunday, April 15, 2012 at 3:00 pm at Grace United Methodist Church, 110 West Bel Air Avenue in Aberdeen. Contributions in memory of Glen can be made to the Building Fund of Grace United Methodist Church.

My pew-buddy : The pew I sit in is lonely without Glen, but I know his spirit is there. I don't think Glen ever knew a stranger. He will be sorely missed.
