Robert William Hill

Robert William Hill of Abingdon passed away on Saturday, June 16 at his home. He was 68. Born in Turkey Creek, KY he was the son of the late Hassel Hill and Pearl (Murphy) Hill. Mr. Hill served with the Delaware National Guard and retired as a service manager for numerous national and international companies in commercial and industrial refrigeration. He taught refrigeration at Harford Community College. He is survived by his wife of 47 years Linda (Caudill) Hill, two daughters Shannon Hand of Aberdeen and Audrey Pillar of Abingdon. A brother Hassel "Bud" Hill, Jr. of CO and a sister Barbara Cook of Townsend, DE. 6 grandchildren; Lucien, Michelle, Brett, Ashlyn, Elaina and David and one great grandson Ryan. A visitation will be held on Monday, June 18 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home where funeral services conducted by Rev. Robin Taylor will be held on Tuesday, June 19 at 10:00am.
