8/22/2012 @ 8:19 p.m. Dear Marie & Denise & Family: I found out about Sister Dorothy's passing in the Aegis today. I came to Maryland in May of 1967 and I met your mother at Stepney Faith Center. She was a wonderful person and was a blessing to me. I have visited her a few times and I mailed her our church's newsletter monthly. We called each other from time to time and she expressed to me how she enjoyed the newsletters. I wished I would have found out about her death in time to attend the viewing, but God knows best. Please know that my prayers are with you. Love & Prayers, Dolola Carmichael 410-272-8871 938 Edmund Street Aberdeen, MD 21001

So sorry to hear of Dorothy's passing. Our family got to know Dorothy while our grandmother Louise was in her care for 10 years and by her bedside when she passed away. We remember Dorothy with much fondness as a kind and gentle spirit and are thankful that our grandmother had someone as dedicated to the elderly as Dorothy to take care of her. God bless you.

I was a friend of Dorothy's while she cared for Arlene Myrick, mother of Vera Carroll. Arlene really loved Dorothy and I saw the excellent and compassionate care she gave Arlene. Dorothy was a very special person and will be missed.
