I HAVE MANY MEMORIES, HOWEVER THE ONES THAT COME FRONT AND CENTER ARE THOSE FROM MY YOUNGER YEARS WITH UNCLE JOE. WHEN WE LIVED AT MARYLAND TRAINING SCHOOL FOR BOYS. WE SAW HIM ALMOST EVERY DAY. HE WOULD COME INTO THE KITCHEN AND ROUGH HOUSE WITH MY LITTLE BROTHER UNTIL THE DOG WOULD GROWL AT HIM. HE LOVED TO CHASE "AWOLS" WITH MY DAD. BUT MOST OF ALL I REMEMBER HIM (UNCLE JOE) AND MY GRANDMOTHER HAVING EVERY HOLIDAY MEAL WITH US. MY MOTHER LOVED TO COOK AND BAKE. THEREFORE HE IS IN ALL MY THANKSGIVING, CHRISTMAS AND EASTER MEAL MEMORIES. EVEN INTO THE LATER YEARS HE ALWAYS ENJOYED STOPPING BY MY MOTHERS HOUSE FOR A MEAL AND A GLASS OF HER SWEET TEA.
