Dorothy Virgina Addison

Dorothy "Dot" Virginia Addison died Tuesday, September 11 at her home in Havre de Grace. She was 80. Born in Towson, MD she was the daughter of the late Maurice and Hilda Mae (Turnbaugh) Lins. Mrs. Addison was in charge of Military Payroll at Aberdeen Proving Ground for over 32 years. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Charles C. Addison, Jr.; brothers, Maurice and Tommy Lins both of Chestertown, MD and Ralph Lins of Worton, MD; sisters, Loretta Lins Cable of Barclay, MD and Eva Lins Merchant of Chestertown, MD. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Addison was predeceased by her only child Robert Addison who died at the age of 17 in 1976, and by her brother , John W. Lins and sister, Helen Lins Lewis. A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 13 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home where funeral services conducted by Dr. Robert T.
