Norma Lillian DeBoard

Norma Lillian DeBoard of Aberdeen passed quietly in her sleep Monday, November 5 at the Sen. Bob Hooper House after a long illness. She was 77. Born in Piney Flats, TN she was the daughter of the late John T. and Wilsie (Cash) Broyles and wife of the late Leonard E. DeBoard. Mrs. DeBoard retired from Aberdeen Proving Ground having worked in Food Service Management. Her hobbies included designing and making jewelry, sewing, home gardening, and bird watching at the Conowingo Dam. She is survived by her daughters, Theresa Kaigler of Aberdeen and Maria Gray of OH; sons, Robert Kaigler of NC and Ron Hutchinson of Aberdeen; grandchildren, Susie Kaigler-Franco of Middle River and William Tracy of OH; siblings, Carolyn Slegle and husband Carl of Jonesborough, TN, Sammy Broyles and wife Maria of FL, John Broyles of AZ, and the late Robert Broyles and wife Irene of TN. A visitation will be held at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 7 from 6-9pm where funeral services conducted by will be held on Thursday, November 8 at Tarring Cargo Funeral Home. Interment will be in Bakers Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.Cancer.org.
