Terri and Linda: When my brother Phil called me last night, I didn't want to believe that your Dad passed. Bunk was a friend from high school, played football with my brother. We had good times in school. He and I would walk to/from school together. We shared a lane behind our houses when we lived in Aberdeen. Bunk and Dottie were the best people anyone would ever want to know. He was loving, compassionate, and genuine. I think that last word says it all. It is my privilege to have known him. My deepest sympathy to all your families.

I am the hairdresser at Citizens, to introduce myself. Bunky was an amazing man and am happy to have shared many conversations with him as well as taking care of Dottie's hair and loving her. My uncle, Carl Taylor and Bunky enlisted in the Navy tge and went through boot camp tge. Upon his visits from Wisc. , I always made arrangements for the two to meet at citizens for a reunion of sorts. He will be sorely missed.

Remembering "Bunk" as a friend when he lived on Linden Lane, a few houses from the Williams house at 620 N. Adams St. Bunky defended me from bullies when I was in Jr. High and Bunky Sr. High. My sympathy goes to those who will miss Bunk.

My deepest sympathy to Dottie,Terri and Linda. Bunk and I were class-mates, team-mates, and ship-mates. I will miss my visits with him, and sometimes with Dottie at the nursing home whenever I get back to HdeG. We would reminisce and tell "Sea Stories" of when we served in the Navy together.
