James W. Williams

James W. Williams, age, 86, of Havre de Grace passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2013. He was born in Big Stone Gap, Virginia to the late Paul and Zettie Williams; beloved husband of the late Addie Williams; cherished father of Gwendolyn Williams Waters of Belcamp and Debra Pedro-Sykes and husband, Douglas of Aberdeen. Also survived by three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. James was an avid fisherman and loved to visit all of the fishing sites in Harford County. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed working in his yard. A veteran of the Air Force, he served our country in WWII as a member of the 318th AAF Base Unit. He retired from the U.S. Army Ordnance Center and School where he worked as an Education Specialist for the government. Family will receive friends in the family-owned Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home on Friday, February 15, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A funeral service officiated by Reverend Granderson Jones, Jr. will follow at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Harford Memorial Gardens.
