Lucy M. Fisher

Lucy Magdalen Fisher, of Aberdeen, died at home on Thursday, April 4, 2013. She was 91. Born in Newport, RI, she was the daughter of the late George and Margaret (Daly) Langstaff. Mrs. Fisher was a homemaker, and had many hobbies: she was an avid bingo player, she belonged to the Bright Eyes bowling league at Harford lanes, was a member of American Legion Post 128 and VFW Post 10028 and also a member of the Fleet Reserve Association. Mrs. Fisher is survived by her husband of 60 years, Walter "Jack" Fisher; daughters Margaret "Maggie" Freeman of Elkton, Jacqueline "Jackie" Fisher of Havre de Grace and Darlene "Dollie" Budnick of Aberdeen, four grandchildren, Sharon Haywood, Kristine Henderson, C. Donald Mauzy III and Lucy Everett and six great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers and one sister. A visitation will be held at the family owned Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home on Friday, April 5 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A private graveside service will be at Harford Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Keith Budnick, David Budnick, Curtis Diering, Don Mauzy, Jr., Vince Wernz, and Bob Gordon. Contributions in her memory may be made to the American Legion Post 128, 34 N.
