I volunteered with Archie for several years with Red Cross Disaster Team in Bel Air. He was very dedicated and very helpful to me when we went out on calls at all times of the day and night. He will be very missed.

Archie and Jean were old army friends. We were in Germany with them for two years. They took us in their home for a short time until we could find a house. Archie was one of a kind and everyone he touched never forgot him.

Archie first introduced me on how interesting it was to collect pre-cancel stamps. I was amazed on Archies knowledge of military history when I briefed the Unknown Soldiers Guards at our Harford Stamp Club Christmas dinner. He had diversity of collecting interests and he was very knowledge in those fields from stamps, model trains, military history, etc.

Archie was a great guy. I met him in Germany in 1973. We both built plastic models and shared a love of trains. He will be missed.
