Elsie Mae Kayser

Elsie M. Kayser, age 86, died peacefully surrounded by her family at Citizen's Care and Rehab Center on May 18, 2013. Elsie was born in Sparta, North Carolina in December 4, 1926. She is the daughter of the late, Olsen and Verna (Jennings) Poole. She is pre-deceased by her husband, Lyle Kayser and her sister, Mary Shipley. Elsie's family moved to the Harford County Area when she as a small child. She was employed at the Chemical Research Laboratory at the Edgewood area of APG. While there, she met her husband Lyle while he was serving in the army. They were married on December 1, 1956 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Kingsville, Md. Elsie loved sewing, home cooking and most of all spending time with her granddaughter. Elsie is survived by her daughter Lisa (Kayser) Kiebler and granddaughter, Ashlyn N. Kiebler. A visitation will be held at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 22 from 6-8 pm and on Thursday, May, 23 from 10-11 am with the service immediately following.
