I was saddened to read of Marie's passing, but know she is at peace. I visited her and her husband to bring them communion from St. Joan of Arc Church. I remember her happiness watching the birds in the back yard and telling me of her time during the war years nursing in the Phillipines. I think of her every time I pass the house they lived in.
