We will always remember the political conversations between Mac and Clif. Mac knew his history, politics and gardening. We always enjoyed the holly at Christmas, the herbs, tomatoes and hot peppers he shared with us the rest of the year. He will be missed. Clif and Vicki

As longtime friends and neighbors, I fondly remember the board games, touch football and baseball games in John's backyard. If there were questions about rock and roll, we all knew to ask John! All of our conversations reflected John's intelligence about politics and music. Our condolences to Cathy and the rest of the family.

We have very fond memories of spending time with "Mac." We were lucky to see Mac each year at a friend's house. Lots of laughs, and good talks about politics. We will miss John.

I have a lot of good memories growing up with John playing baseball, football, volleyball, croquet, you name it ...if we weren't over Johnny's & Cathy's playing we were 2 houses over .... always had to be dragged in after dark...never was enough time to shoot the last ball or play the last inning..just like life...never enough time. Will be greatly missed...rest in peace. Love Betty

My sincerest sympathies to you, Cathy. It saddens me to think of John's life being cut so short and of the loss to you. I will always remember the great fun we had as children when Johnny and you visited with your parents and we got to play with our Maryland cousins! I know that John will always be with you and be a part of who you are. His stay here was too brief, but he will always be remembered with great fondness by those whose lives he touched, including me.
