Ronnie A. Staggs

Ronnie Antha Staggs of Colora died Saturday, March 1 at the University of MD. He was 57. Born in Baltimore he was the son of the late Antha & Eloise (Gillenwaters) Staggs. Mr. Staggs was a roll welder employed by Siemens in North East, MD. He was the Sexton at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, he enjoyed working in the yard, bowling, and having fun and being silly. He especially loved his dogs. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Gail M. (Caudill) Staggs; son, Eddie Besser of Edgewood; brother, Donnie Staggs of Abingdon; sisters, Sharon Meck and Theresa Parker both of Abingdon; grandchildren, Nicky and Eddie and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother David Staggs. A visitation will be held at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home on Friday, March 7 from 3-5 and 7-9pm where funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 8 at 10:00am.
