Dear Ann, Michael, and Doris, Margaret's friendship with our parents, AnnaBelle and Herman Gay, goes back to the 1940's when many smart southern girls headed north to work at APG for the war effort. Margaret and Mom's lives intertwined through the years, through shared friends and interests, but mostly through Grace Church. Paul Sampson was also a fishing buddy of my dad's. After moving to Carsin's Run, Margaret usually stopped at my parents' house on her way home from Aberdeen, and visited, enjoying a bit of conversation and something to eat or drink. Margaret was an elegant, intelligent, outspoken, vibrant, and passionate woman. It has been our whole family's pleasure and blessing to have known Margaret Sampson! Such wonderful memories! Thank you for sharing Margaret with us. We are sorry that we cannot be with you at her service today. We'll keep Margaret and you close in our hearts and prayers. Love- Martha Gay (Houston & PA), Nancy Gay (Lanham MD) Paul Gay (Needham MA) and John Gay (Bowie MD)

I knew Margaret in 1956 when I was right out of high School and went to work at EBL. What a wonder lady. The Rev. married my husband and me not too many months after Margaret and Rev Sampson were married them selves. She has a place in my heart. I am very sure your loss is huge.
