Obituary
Betty Lou Gentile of Aberdeen died Monday, June 16 at Hummingbird Manor. She was 78.
Born in Baltimore, MD she was the daughter of the late A. Mantz and Evelyn R. (Roselius) Brengle and wife of the late Walter W. Gentile.
Mrs. Gentile retired after 42 years from the Baltimore City Board of Education first as a teacher and then as an administrator. She was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Women and she was an avid gardener and birdwatcher who loved to travel internationally.
She is survived by her sons, Craig "Bunk" Gentile of Aberdeen and Charles Gentile of Aurora, CO; daughters, Cheryl Kinnear of Chase, MD and Carole Rawls of Myrtle Beach, SC; brother, Ronald Brengle of Rehoboth Beach, DE and four grandchildren.
