Obituary
Carol Paul Gaskill of Aberdeen died Wednesday, August. 20 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center. He was 79.
Born in Corning, Iowa he was the son of the late Frank & Mabel (Schafer) Gaskill.
Mr. Gaskill retired from the U.S. Army after dedicating almost 30 years of service for his country.
He is survived by his wife Satoe (Yamaguchi) Gaskill; sons, Phillip Gaskill of Aberdeen, David Gaskill of Abingdon, Patrick Gaskill of Aberdeen and Joseph Gaskill of Port Deposit; his brother, Virgil Gaskill and six grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his two sisters and his grandson, Phillip P. Gaskill.
A memorial services will be held at a later date. Interment will be in Arlington National Cemetery.

I worked for Sgt. Gaskill at the Combined Intelligence Center, Vietnam. He was very helpful in my endeavor to bring my Vietnamese wife home, a woman that I have been marred to for 45 years. We have three daughters and 7 Grandchildren. Sgt. Gaskill was a dear friend and we are so sorry for you loss.
