We are greatly saddened to find out about the loss of Eleanor. To know her was to respect and admire her. She was a kind and generous friend for more than 40 years and she will be missed deeply by those of us who had the pleasure to meet her, spend time with her, learn from her, and work with her.

The kindness of certain people can extend for many miles. As a new analyst for SSA in Kansas City, MO, Eleanor was my lifesaver. As I matured and developed confidence in my job, Eleanor was still there to assist. She never complained about my ridiculous questions and she always responded. As a co-worker, she was a treasure. I can only imagine how deeply you will miss her because she was one-of-a-kind to me.
