Bennie H. James

Bennie Hartman James of Street, MD died Saturday, December 13 at Citizens Care Center. He was 79. Born in Dover, DE he was the son of the late William and Anna (Lee) James. Mr. James was a custodian at Harford Christian School and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Shirley James; step daughters, Deborah Harris and Dina Harris both of Elkton and Donna Miller of Nottingham, PA, five step grandchildren and four step great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Friday, December 19 at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home from 10-11am where funeral services conducted by Donald Smith will begin at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the family in care of the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home, 333 S. Parke St., Aberdeen, MD 21001.
