Glenys D. Perry

Glenys D. Perry died Tuesday, December 23 at her home in Aberdeen. She was 68. Born in Newport South Wales, Great Britain she was the daughter of the late George and Catherine (Harvey) Morgan. Mrs. Perry retired from the Harford County Board of Education as a Special Education Instructional Assistant. She was an active member of Grace United Methodist Church, where she was Chairman of the Worship Guild and a Cribbery Attendant for over 20 years. She was also a member of the Victory Chapter 40 O.E.S., but her great love was spending time with her grandchildren who were the light of her life. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Ralph L. Perry; daughter, Linda Edwards and husband John of Aberdeen; grandchildren, Ryan and Morgan Edwards both of Aberdeen; sisters, Kathleen Chorley-Betts and husband Glyn and Maureen Morgan; brothers, George Morgan and wife Margaret, Glyn Morgan and wife Olwen and Terence Morgan all of Newport South Wales. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brother Ronald Morgan. A visitation will be held at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home, P.A. on Sunday, December 28, from 2-4 and 6-8pm and again on Monday December 29 from 10-11am at Grace United Methodist Church where funeral services conducted by Dr. Robert Clipp will begin at 11:00 am.
