God's word tells us: "Our days ebb away...; And our years come to an end like a whisper. The span of our life is 70 years, Or 80 if one is especially strong... They pass by and away we fly." (Psalms 90:9,10) This brings to the fore that no matter how long we live it is not long enough, because man was not created to die. (Genesis 2:17,3:19) Rest assured God is aware of your pain. (John 11:33) "He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces." (Isaiah 25:8) This gives us hope of being reunited with our loved ones who are now sleeping in death. As our deceased loved ones are resurrected to life here on earth, the earth with be filled with joy as never before. (Mark 5:39-42) May meditating on this future miracle bring you comfort.

Our sincere sympathy to the Cunningham family for your loss. It is a reunion in heaven now! He was always a joy to see and spend time with. I never saw him without a smile. We had the honor to have him as our Science teacher at Aberdeen Middle School but also having him as our CCD teacher at St. Joan of Arc became a blessing. He made learning fun! He truly made a difference in the lives of all those he taught. His laughter made life more enjoyable. In my adult years I considered him a friend. He was known as the other "Mr. C", besides our own dad. I know our mother always enjoyed receiving calls from him where he identified himself as that. It always put a smile on our faces. You shall be missed but always remain in our hearts forever. You have earned your angel wings. Be all of our voices in God's ears through our prayers. Peace always too you sir! You are free of all pain and limitations. Love always!

To the Cunningham family- Uncle Don, as I called him, was one of my buddies as a fellow teacher at the middle school. The one constant memory I will always have of Don was his love of family! I was there when the kids went through the school and grew up to be adults-he would always talk about his wife and kids and their kids-You were all number one with pride in his mind-yes even more so than his garden! Uncle Don we will tip beakers in heaven!
