Carollynn Gerard Kline Goldburn passed away suddenly at her residence in Aberdeen on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at the age of 74.

Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late James S. and Josephine L. (Rumpf) Kline and wife of the late Joseph R. Goldburn who passed in 2023.

Carol worked at APG Edgewood Arsenal as an administrative assistant and support to her Branch Chief. Carol handled all purchasing, timecards, attendance for biosciences branches over the years. Carol wore many hats, but the glue that helped the branch to be ready to complete their mission. A member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, we don’t know what she loved more…Bargain shopping or BINGO! Other interests were traveling to Lancaster, PA to visit friends, gardening and collecting Longaberger baskets.

She is survived by her son, Kurt J. Goldburn of Aberdeen and siblings, Michael J. Kline, Maria T. Dembeck, Joanne M. Kline, Joyce L. Smith, and Gretchen R. Kline with many nieces and nephews and their children.

In Lieu of flowers, please donate to Cardinal Gibbons, Knights of Columbus, P.O. Box 369, Perry Hall, Maryland 21128, or St. Paul’s Welca or St. Paul’s Pantry, located at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 201 Mt. Royal Avenue, Aberdeen, MD 21001, Phone: 410-272-3111.
