Brigitte B. Johnson of Aberdeen died Monday, February 23, 2015 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center. She was 79.
Born in Germany she was the daughter of the late Albert and Erna (Sommerfeld) Mittelstadt and wife of the late Douglas Johnson.
Mrs. Johnson retired from Chrysler Corporation.
She is survived by her son Ralf Johnson of Hollywood, MD; grandchildren, Rebecca and family, Dr. Benjamin F. Johnson and wife Nina, Ryan Johnson and Regan Johnson; great grandchild, Kaleb Quick and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by her son, Raymond Johnson.

Ryan and Regan - I'm so sorry for your loss. I know how much both of you loved your grandmother. She was such a wonderful person and so easy to talk to. We had a few conversations, mostly about our grandchildren, hers and mine. I loved having that in common with her. She loved you both dearly. I know in my heart she is with the Lord now; hope you can find comfort and peace knowing this. Love, Granny

She had the biggest heart of anyone i know never saw the bad in anything or anyone. I'm going to miss her.She would do anything for her family even if it meant sacrificing for herself. She was such a strong person too she endured losing a son and i hope i never have to go through that I know it was very hard on her but she still always had a smile on her face when she saw you. Love you Briggitte.
