I just wanted to tell the family how very sorry I am for their loss but to also let them know that Mom Mom Alice is smiling down on them with no pain and pure love for all of them. She spent the last days of her life with her family and that meant more to her than you will ever know. As hard as it maybe, don't think of this as losing your mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, or cousin, but look at this as you gained a guardian angel. She was an amazing woman who I loved very dearly, I will forever remember her smile and her calling me Aldi. Much love and prayers to you all.

I am so sad to hear of her passing. Mrs. Alice was like a mom to me and my kids. Because of her loving kindness, my life was completely transformed. She was the foster mom to my son Caleb. The love she had for him was immeasurable. The time she spent mentoring me I will never forget. I still have inspirational clippings that she gave me while he was in her care and I was in early sobriety. She never judged, always loved. I have no doubt that when she arrived in Heaven and sat at Jesus' feet He said to her 'Well done, good and faithful servant'.

Alice was my roommate at Bel Air Health and Rehab for a while, she was pleasant and we always laughed about the food served. I saw her her husband time to time checking to See how she was. I saw Alice periodically down at therapy. She was a wonderful woman and I for one will miss her.

Mrs. Ashford I am truly going to miss you. We have known each other for almost 20 years. You were a wonderful foster mother. Whenever I called you about a child you were always willing to open your heart and your home. I know that it was very hard for you to retire from fostering children that is why I often called to check on you. Every time that I saw you or spoke to you you always expressed your desire to still foster babies. Mr. & Mrs. Ashford were foster parents for over 40 years and when her health began to fail she still wanted to foster children. They cared for hundreds of children. I will miss you. I'm so very happy that I had the chance to see you and talk to you one more time before you left. God Bless!
