Obituary for Patrick Paul Gaskill

On Wednesday, July 3, 2019, Patrick Gaskill (Pat), loving uncle and son, passed away at the age of 49.

Pat was born on September 24, 1969 in Honolulu, HI to Carol and Satoe Gaskill. Pat was the third son out of Carol and Satoe’s four sons, Phillip, David, and Joseph. He was a hard worker, and he had worked for Commercial & Industrial Door for over 10 years. In 2017, he became the sole caretaker of his mother, Satoe, after the passing of their father, Carol in August 20, 2014.

Pat had a passion for golfing and sports. He loved to play golf as much as he could with his brothers and close friends. His passion for golf led him to create yearly trips to Myrtle Beach to hold his and his friends Smokyhaze Golf Championship. He was also an avid sports fan who spent much of his high school years playing sports such as, football, basketball, swimming, and baseball. He was known for his quick wit, his favorite blue golf jacket, and his kind and compassionate heart for his mother and nieces and nephews.

Pat was preceded in death by his, nephew Phillip Jr. (Frankie), brother Phillip, and his father, Carol. He is survived by his mother, Satoe and his brothers David and Joseph Gaskill and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A celebration of Pat’s life will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home, P.A., 333 South Parke St., Aberdeen, MD 21001 from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m.
