Born in Meiningen, Germany she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Meta (Pfister) Nössler of Meiningen, Germany, and wife of the late CSM Buddy Willis Maxwell who died in 2015.
A homemaker, Mrs. Maxwell was devoted to her family, her late husband Max, and especially to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was proud of her “Army is a Family Business” family. Until her aging years, she enjoyed bowling and visiting the American Legion with Max. Christa will be remembered for her lust for life, vivacious personality, and smiles she brought to all who met her throughout her long life.
