Obituary for Edith Agnes Dishman

Edith Agnes Dishman of Aberdeen died Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Glade Valley Center in Walkersville, MD. She was 86.
Born in Wyandotte, MI she was the daughter of the late William & Mary D. (Davis) Corder and wife of the late Carl V. Dishman, Sr.
A homemaker, Mrs. Dishman had also worked for Bata Shoe Company and the Harford Co. Board of Education. She was a member of Cross Roads Church and the Aberdeen Senior Center. In the past she had been a member of the First Baptist Church of Havre de Grace, the PTA and was a Brownie Troop Leader.
She is survived by her sons, Timothy A. Cressman and wife Carol of New Market, MD and Mark Criss of Aberdeen; daughters, Yolanda Racine and husband Fred “David” of Havre de Grace, Gloria Owens and husband Walt of North East and Rebecca Rambus of Aberdeen. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by her children, Carl Dishman, Jr. and Delilah Manning and her siblings, William, Robert, Wayne, Lula and Frances.
A visitation will held on Friday, October 27 from 5-7pm at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home and again on Saturday, October 28 from 9-10am with a funeral set to begin at 10:00am. Interment will be in Harford Memorial Gardens. Contributions in her memory may be made to either the Alzheimer's Association, P.O.
